Adventure Bike Rider
About me...
In 2019, with zero touring motorbike experience, I set off to explore a few remote countries with the tools at my disposal, without any investment or preparation.
The tour, originally planned to last 3 months and 10,000 km, has continued ever since, so far covering some 43 countries and more than 90,000 km on the saddle of a single-cylinder KTM 690 enduro that has become my faithful companion and trademark.
About my travels...
Lately I've been travelling back and forth across Europe, from the southernmost point in Malta to the northernmost point in Nordkapp, Norway. Through and through, from Ukraine to Portugal.
I had to postpone my 2020 expedition to Africa because of Covid, even though I was waiting for the ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar. I also have plans to explore the Caucasus in depth as well as Iceland.
About the bike...
- I wanted a motorcycle that embodies economy of maintenance, reliability, low service requirements, and all of this while being powerful, comfortable and light enough to handle off-road conditions. Well, with all that experience behind me, I can say I've found it:

Bali on Road - ADV Rider
Bali tells the story of how he was sucked into motorcycling by social media and the frontiers of famous youtubers.

Vincent Den Haese from Belgium, one of our bikers who is also the result of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman's iconic film series "Long Way Round". In a positive sense, of course.
Zoltán Pócza - ADV Rider
If anyone is more seriously interested in what a longer adventure motorcycle tour can bring and what lessons can be learned from it, Zoli's report is definitely worth reading! I couldn't have summed it up better myself.
ELI Biker Adventures
Elemér is the tougher kind of adventure biker. He and his companions also regularly go on winter rides. The last time we had the opportunity to meet was at a winter motorcycle meeting (Wolfentreffen) in Poland at the beginning of the year at the height of Zakopane.
Jeti on Tour
As I mentioned, in January I will start an Interview series with adventure motorcyclists from many countries. I've tried to include questions that go beyond the surface, focusing on the psychology of motorcycle touring. My first guest may already be familiar to many of you in our circle, as he puts no small amount of effort into documenting his motorcycling material, which is his daily routine. Please give a warm welcome to András Kis,...
My travels in 100% are self-funded, as I combine a freelance digital nomad lifestyle with motorcycling around the world, so I work on my projects while travelling.
